Conservation Parks Plan
Our Oct. 7th meeting featured the Village of Oregon Planning Director, Elise Cruz. Elise gave members an exciting update on the village's long-term CIP (Capital Improvement Plan) for west side conservation parks. The phasing and implementation strategy includes additional invasive species removal, trail extensions, boardwalks, and eventually buildings such as a tool shed and pavilion with restrooms. This is designed to be a 10-year process as it is phased in. Oregon Rotary will continue to be a strong partner with the village in making these connected conservation parks a reality.
Backpacks of Hope
Dear Oregon Rotary Foundation and Club Members, Thank you so much for supporting the Backpacks of Hope project. This initiative carries deep meaning for me and my family, and your willingness to stand behind it is both humbling and inspiring. Fall is a time of acceleration for Oregon Rotary. We are well into our “Rotary year” and some important service projects and fund raising are underway.
