Board Meeting

The April Oregon Rotary Board meeting is on for Thursday night April 24th,  6:30-7:30 pm. We will meet in person.  We will meet in Andy's office, OSD Meeting room, 123 E Grove St, Oregon.  Park by the Pool and follow the "redish" sidewalk to Door #8.  Go through the double set of doors and the meeting room is on the right hand side.

The meeting agenda is below.  We have a lengthy agenda and some important items to discuss, so I will try to keep us moving.

3.  Club Updates  

• New Members Report:  Nike Loomis:  Mark Buehl, Darin Phillips, Megan DeVault, Francine Tompkins and Ed Meachen inducted at the April 15th meeting
• Interact club: Bill Rockwell, John Bonsett-Veal: Interact Students made care packages for UW Children's hospital patients with money they raised from a 50/50 raffle.  These students dropped them off at the donation center:  Calvin Ritter, Kyle Rohn, Tanner Tervort, Livy Vondra, Bizzy Vieaux, and Katie Dunn. Rotary members contributed to the care packages and dollars to support the donation
• RYLA: Bill Rockwell:  Three students are now sponsored to attend RYLA on May 9-11. They are: Peyton Kypreos, Riley Black & Cali Chatton. 
• Rotary Bike Trail:  Nike Loomis: A new group has been formed chaired by Steve Staton to pursue extending the Oregon Bike Trail. 

1. District 6250 Grant: Rich Strohmenger. Our club has a committee that has been meeting to get funding for new signs at Lerner Park.  Grant deadline is May 25th. Will require match from club.  Maximum grant amount allowed is $5000. 
2. Bylaws and Leadership for 2025-26: 

• Review and approve bylaws: 
• Plan for the 2025-26 executive board. Replace retirements. Do we need an "annual meeting" vote?

• Tri-Con Conference, April 25-26: Bill Rockwell and Nike Loomis are attending in Brookfield.  
• National Conference;  June 21-25 Calgary

• Rotary Meeting: Tues. May 6th. PUMC  Speaker: Nike Loomis, Tips on Rotary Public Image  
• Rotary Flex: Tues. May. 15th Rotary Flex:  Club working session on using Club Runner and other communication tools
• Rotary Meeting: At PUMC June 3rd: Speaker: New member classification talk
• Rotary Flex:  June 17th:  No program as of yet
• Executive Board meeting: June 19: Need someone to facilitate
